We’ve seen Bluetooth speakers in many different shapes, sizes, and styles but the football helmet design from NiMA Sports gets the prize for originality.

The company offers “high-quality 360-degree Bluetooth speakers” embedded in NCAA-licensed replica football helmets that you can order with the logo and colors of your favorite Top 25 college team.

The speaker is battery-powered, has a built-in microphone so it can be used as a speaker phone (!), and is controlled via a mobile app (iOS and Android) that includes a seven-band equalizer (it also has a control panel). Bonus: It supports multipoint connection for pairing with up to 10 helmet speakers.

Construction is “hardwearing polycarbonate” and the helmet is available in three sizes: Small weighs 1.9 pounds and measures 7.6 x 6 x 7.4 inches ($100), medium is 6.9 pounds and measures 11.6 x 11 x 9 inches ($200), and large is 14 pounds and measures 15 x 13.6 x 11 inches ($400).
