Meet GorillaPod: The All-Terrain Speaker Stand

If you’ve ever wished you had a way to prop up your portable Bluetooth speaker when you relaxing out on the patio or at the park or beach, your prayers may be answered in the form of GorillaPod, a small, flexible speaker stand you can take with you.

Joby, maker of the GorillaPod, says the $40 stand can be used just about anywhere—on uneven surfaces, on a table, affixed to a tree limb (as in photo)—and fits most popular portable wireless speakers, including the Beats Pill, Ultimate Ears Boom, Jambox, Sony SRSX2, JBL Pulse, among others.

The stand itself weighs 6.9 ounces and has bendable plastic legs with rubber feet and a stainless-steel platform that accommodates speakers with a standard ¼-inch threaded insert. It can support up to 2 pounds and has a “cinch cord” for securing speakers that don’t have a screw insert.
