NAD, Bluesound Network Players Embrace Roon

NAD Electronics and Bluesound have announced that their streaming media players will be “Roon Ready” by the end of the 2016.

The integration will enable subscribers of Roon’s information-rich music library management software to connect with BluOS-enabled devices from NAD and Bluesound.

By analyzing a music collection, Roon allows users to explore the connections between the artists, composers, performers, producers, who created the music they love most, providing valuable insights and helps them to discover new music. In combination with NAD and Bluesound hardware, music lovers will be able to stream high resolution music throughout the home, to one or many speakers simultaneously or individually.

“We are proud to partner with Roon, as it’s an integration that has been widely requested across all of our channels,” said Greg Stidsen, director of technology and product development for NAD/Bluesound parent company Lenbrook. “It’s a partnership that reinforces NAD’s and Bluesound’s commitment to expanding the richness of networked and high-resolution audio and music experiences our users and fans desire.”
