T-Mobile Binges On
Binge On is the name of T-Mobile’s new streaming service for mobile devices, which delivers major channels and platforms with no data caps or overage fees. The service is available to Simple Choice plan subscribers. Content includes Netflix, HBO Go, Showtime, Hulu, Sling TV, Vudu, and sports channels like Major League Baseball, Fox Sports, and NBC sports, among others (subscription charges may apply). T-Mobile even managed to get rights to Verizon’s go90—with prime-time shows, live music, and sports—and DirecTV video apps. Resolution is “DVD or better.” The service costs $14/month for the first 12 months, which includes a 30-percent discount, plus a free seven-day trial of Sling TV.
