Experience the ultimate in horror with four frightening films from the legendary “Omen” series. This set includes “The Omen” that started it all, plus “Damien – The Omen II”, in which Damien discovers his destiny, “Omen III: The Final Conflict”, in which he realizes his full power, and the recent remake of the original “The Omen: 666”.

It is honestly a RARE treat when Hollywood delivers a solid, mature horror film. It could be one of the rarest things we see on film today. New Line has delivered just that with The Orphanage. This movie just seems to do everything right. Mood, tension, terror, production, acting, script; all of the elements are just dead on. They didn't rely on gore or gimmicks to create an underlying tension that keeps you locked on from start to finish and the eerie photography and stunning sound design will have you at an unease that I find a rare commodity in this genre today. Why can't all ghost stories be half as good as this?

I'm always a fan of period drama and despite the rather lackluster reviews, The Other Boleyn Girl was quite entertaining. The film is based on the true story of two sisters who started quite the scandal with King Henry VIII after his queen fails to give him a male heir. Anne Boleyn is propositioned as a mistress for the King to give him an heir but he becomes captivated with her married sister, Mary. From there a downward spiral commences as the King is pulled from one to the other which eventually tears the kingdom apart resulting in the annulment of his marriage with the queen, a separation from the Catholic Church and a string of failed marriages. It was these events that set things in motion for Queen Elizabeth and the feud between the Protestant Queen and the Catholics. If I had to complain I would say the PG-13 rating seemed to tone down the film a bit more than it needed to be. This film focuses on very adult themes that would have been better served with an adult rating in my opinion.

"The Pacific" tracks the intertwined real-life stories of three U.S. Marines - Robert Leckie, John Basilone, and Eugene Sledge - across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. The miniseries follows these men and their fellow Marines from their first battle with the Japanese on Guadalcanal, through the rain forests of Cape Gloucester and the strongholds of Peleliu, across the bloody sands of Iwo Jima and through the horror of Okinawa, and finally to their triumphant but uneasy return home after V-J Day. "The Pacific" is based in part on the books "Helmet for My Pillow", by Robert Leckie, and "With the Old Breed", by Eugene B. Sledge, as well as original interviews conducted by filmmakers.

Near Gloucester, Massachusetts, the six members of the Andrea Gail, a sword fishing boat, head out to sea for their last trip of the season. Unbeknownst to them, a shockingly brutal storm is slowly gaining steam. Before the National Weather Bureau has a chance to inform the crew of the impending danger, it's too late. The resulting battle with three merging weather fronts - an unheralded natural disaster - is grueling and tragic.
