LG Announces Pricing for B4 Series OLED TVs

LG today announced pricing with discounts for the new B4 Series OLED TVs that sit just below its flagship evo G3/G4 models.

Three new models featuring LG’s AI-driven Alpha 8 processor have been added to the OLED lineup: the 77-inch OLED77B4 ($3,400), 65-inch OLED65B4 ($2,300), and 55-inch OLED55B4 ($1,700). LG is kicking off the new 77- and 55-inch models with discounts of $100 and $200, respectively.

In addition to the Alpha 8 processor, which uses AI Picture Pro to automatically adjust and improve image quality on the fly, other common features include Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR), Dolby Atmos sound, and an upgraded webOS smart TV platform that provides easy access to a variety of movies and TV shows, including the ever-expanding lineup of free programming offered through the brand’s own streaming channel, LG Channels, which currently has more than 300 channels.

The B4 Series TVs also embrace gaming through the inclusion of four HDMI 2.1 inputs, LG Game Dashboard, and Game Optimizer in addition to delivering a response time of 0.1ms and supporting refresh rates up to 120Hz for lag-free gaming. NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) round out the TVs’ gaming-focused features.

Other feature common to the B4 models include support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit, and Chromecast. For more information, visit lg.com.
