An Inspired Leap Forward In Performance, Design And Affordability The new AVENTAGE (pronounced Ah-Ven-Taj) A/V Receiver series is a dramatic leap in audio/video component design, representing Yamaha’s continued commitment to provide their customers with superior audio and video performance, along with the most advanced features and technology in an A/V receiver. The breakthrough AVENTAGE series offers unparalleled attention to detail in design, engineering, and fabrication.
While subtle to the naked eye, the construction of the AVENTAGE series was meticulously designed for improved audio performance and chassis integrity, which includes a double bottom for additional support, a 5th foot for structural rigidity and reduced vibrations, plus a new symmetrical power amplifier layout for an improved signal to noise ratio and uniform balanced vibration control.
The goal of the AVENTAGE series was to achieve the purest, best-sounding audio and the best video reproduction possible. To that end, the RX-A3000 and RX-A2000 are the industry‘s first A/V receivers to incorporate the exceptional HQV Vida video processor for eye-popping detail and color vibrancy. Additionally, four models feature dual HDMI ports that function simultaneously in two separate zones. Providing backwards compatibility for older video components, analog-to-HDMI 1080p video is provided.
With additional channels for today’s robust and enveloping soundtracks, Yamaha makes set-up easy and fun with the YPAO room optimizer that automatically calibrates your system’s speaker array based on the prime listening position. The complete AVENTAGE Series is ready for the emerging 3D era, using Yamaha’s proprietary Cinema DSP 3D audio processing, which provides extended height in the soundfield for a more engaging 3D experience. Using the industry‘s only 3D Virtual Presence technology, it possible to achieve this extended soundfied without extra front presence speakers. Additionally, every AVENTAGE models provides HDMI V.1.4a 3D Pass-through.
DLNA (1.5) compatibility allows the AVENTAGE receivers to stream compressed and uncompressed music files in all your favorite formats (WAV, MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC 96/24) from several sources such as Internet Radio, Rhapsody and Sirius, a PC, or DLNA Server. Every model delivers 7.2 surround sound with full HD Audio decoding for the most current formats (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio; Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio).
Advanced networking functions are integrated into the AVENTAGE series that works with a wide range of third-party home automation control systems. It also permits network control via a Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox & Safari) or a free iPhone/iPodTouch/iPad app (on select units).
