Hisense is introducing its first consumer-ready MicroLED display, dubbed the 136MX. According to the company, this 136-inch screen is designed to deliver the benefits of self-emissive technology—where each pixel handles its own light—to sidestep the pitfalls of traditional backlights. Hisense says that approach yields near-infinite contrast and color performance intended to stay consistent over time.

The 110UX Championship TV is its latest offering and it was unveiled today at NBA headquarters in NYC. And while the NBA "enhancements" on this TV do not include a special "Basketball" picture mode, they do include memberships, aesthetic touches and collectors items.

China’s Hisense announced plans to launch a range of TriChroma Laser TVs with 55- to 100-inch screen sizes in 2021 at its virtual CES press conference. The announcement, made by Fisher Yu, Vice President of Hisense Visual Technology, is the first indication that the tech, which has been displayed in prototype form at previous CES events, will make it into actual ultra short throw projection TV products destined for the U.S. market.
