If you're like most early adopters, you have a stack of HD DVDs in your collection. You might still have an HD DVD player as well, but you probably also have a Blu-ray player by now, and the HD DVD spinner is likely gathering dust awaiting disposal on eBay. But what to do with those HD DVDs?

Career Training
I am interested in learning home-theater installation as a career path. Can you suggest a training program I should look into?

One look and you know this is no ordinary speaker. The flowing, liquid lines of the Muon reflect the highest artistic expression, and rightly so—after all, it was created by renowned designer Ross Lovegrove for pre-eminent British speaker manufacturer KEF.

Generous Offer?
I currently have a B&K AVR507 S2 receiver. It is a great receiver, but it does not have HDMI, DTS-HD, or Dolby TrueHD. When I purchased this receiver, I was told I could upgrade when possible. Now, B&K says this is not possible and is willing to give me a $1000 credit toward a new B&K. What can I do to get these features or do I have to buy a new receiver?

I'm currently in the final stages of framing a theater room. The walls are up and electrical/drywall is next. I framed up a spot for a Mitsubishi 73-inch RPTV, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm scared away from the disappearing RPTV category, but I've ruled out front projection because my memory of projector pictures is that they looked pretty bad. On the other hand, I admit that I'm not up on the latest technology.

Don't Hold Your Breath
I was wondering if you could provide any info about streaming from a Media Center PC to an Xbox 360 acting as a Media Center Extender. I asked Xbox tech support if there are any plans to allow streaming from a Blu-ray drive on a PC to an Xbox 360. I could not get any kind of straight answer. Any info you could dig up would be greatly appreciated and possibly keep me from spending 400-500 bucks on a standalone player.

After denying it was considering bankruptcy, Blockbuster is closer than ever to calling it quits. According to a recent story in the Wall Street Journal, auditors from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP said in a financial filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that they had "substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern."

If you thought 1080p is as good as it gets, think again. Long known for its reference-quality audio products, Meridian now offers a video projector with five times the resolution of 1080p. Dubbed the 810 Reference Video Projector, this 140-pound behemoth uses three D-ILA panels, each with a resolution of 4096x2400 for a total of nearly 10 megapixels.
