SVS designs subwoofers, speakers, electronics, and even cables for audiophiles seeking quality and performance at a fair price. But those who know its roots know it made its name with subwoofers. At CEDIA 2022 in Dallas, the company had its 3000 In-Wall on display. And not just static display, they had it churning out tunes!

The new SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase ($699) is a compact streaming integrated amplifier equipped with 2-channel class D amplification and a 24-bit/192kHz DAC. It connects via Wi-Fi, offering wireless connectivity via Play-Fi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, plus it has Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and aptX support. For wired connections, it has HDMI ARC/eARC, analog RCA, 3.5mm aux, optical-digital, and Ethernet. For simple 2-channel systems where you don't need a surround-sound AV receiver, it is an easy way to get great stereo sound using the speakers of your choice.

SVS announced plans to unveil a multipurpose speaker at CES designed to convey height information in Atmos and DTS:X “immersive surround sound” setups or serve as a surround-channel or center speaker in setups where conventional placement is not possible.

Subwoofer/speaker specialist SVS today introduced a new series of sub-$1,000 subwoofers to replace its popular 2000 Series models, including the Top Pick-designated SB-2000 and PB-2000 models.
