Arcam's FMJ AV9 is the successor to the FMJ AV8, which was the culmination of a massive, ground-up design effort that saw Arcam rewarded with virtually universal praise on both sides of the Atlantic. The AV8 had thundering dynamics and the kind of transparency typically found in two-channel hi-fi gear, but with both music and movies. The FMJ AV9 adds five HDMI inputs, is THX Ultra2 certified, and still has the damped Acousteel chassis that earns it the "Full Metal Jacket Designation." In stores now.
