Klipsch today introduced improved versions of two popular tabletop Bluetooth music systems it introduced several years ago, both Sound & Vision Top Picks: The One and The Three.

The One Plus ($249) and its slightly larger sibling, The Three Plus (shown, $399), boast updated drivers and amplifiers in addition to subtly refined cosmetics in the form of a real-wood-veneer top panel with rounded corners and upgraded connectivity in the form of a USB-C port for network streaming functionality, Bluetooth 5.3, and compatibility with the Klipsch Connect App. Both models also provide an analog 3.5mm minijack input.

Each systems is a biamplified 2.1 design that mates a pair of 2.25-inch full-range drivers with a 4.5- or 5.25-inch woofer and dual-opposing passive radiators in a ported cabinet. The One Plus is rated down to 55 Hz and The Three Plus down to 45 Hz, with rated power of 60 watts and 125 watts, respectively.

Both models feature a new Broadcast Mode that enables up to 10 systems to be connected together for a multi-speaker experience within Bluetooth 5.3’s rated range of 240 meters (787 feet). The systems do not support Wi-Fi. Introduced in 2022, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless transmission technology consumes less power than earlier Bluetooth versions in addition to supporting more robust and secure wireless connections and an expanded audio bandwidth for better sound quality.

Beyond having a larger cabinet that houses a bigger woofer and higher power amplifier, The Three Plus adds an optical digital input that supports resolutions up to 24 bits/96 kHz and a built-in preamp with a phono input that enables direct connection to a turntable that lacks a phono preamp. The Three Plus dimensions are 14 x 7 x 8.4 inches (w x h x d); the One Plus measures 12 x 6 x 6.4 inches.

The Klipsch Connect App facilitates system setup and control as well as firmware updates in addition to providing an adjustable EQ and presets for storing favorites. Both models are available with a natural or black walnut finish. For more information visit, klipsch.com.
