Comcast Punishes Arizona Super Bowl Viewers With Porn
Honestly, the whole things sounds a little like a hoax to me, but there are many reports this morning that Arizona Comcast subscribers were greeted by a few seconds of porn right after Cardinals receiver, Larry Fitzgerald scored Arizona's final touchdown. The glitch apparently only scalded the eyeballs of viewers watching in SD, while HD viewers didn't miss a single second of John Madden's commentary.
UPDATE: It's not a hoax. Also, click here for 7 more unfortunate TV broadcast mix-ups.
Comcast offered me a polite, "no comment," but they're reportedly telling customers that they can expect a free day of cable service for their trouble. I would ask someone from the area to confirm that this actually went down in the comments, but I know all of you were watching in HD. But, in the off-chance one of you was at a party thrown by a friend with a non-HD set (the nerve!), let us know.
