Fluance has announced that its first line of turntables is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter.

The RT80 and RT81 belt-driven models can be pre-ordered at the discounted prices of $150 and $200, respectively. The company expects to ship the turntables in May 2016 at $199 and $249.

Both models feature a built-in preamp and RCA line outputs, a die-cast aluminum platter, a balanced aluminum S-Type tonearm fitted with an Audio Technica moving magnet cartridge, and an MDF wood base with integrated isolation feet.

The RT80 has a hollow base in black and comes with an AT91 cartridge; the RT81 has a vibration-resistant solid base finished in walnut veneer and comes with the more advanced AT95E cartridge.
