This new from the ground up design is built like a tank and features an impressive analog audio section featuring the latest Wolfenson DACs. Pioneer Elite is looking at this as a best in class solution that allows customers to toss out those standalone CD and DVD players sitting on their racks.

This new design is the first stand alone Blu-ray player we’ve seen that features QDEO video processing and an impressive 14 bit color processor. The player will be BD-Live compliant right out of the box and even includes 4GB of internal built in memory. The player will ship in the fourth quarter and carry a flagship price of $2199.
