Record Revirginizer makes your vinyl new again

No matter how neurotic you are about storing and maintaining your records, they're going to collect dust, dirt, smoke and scads of over gross things that you could only hope to see with a fancy microscope. Obviously, all of that stuff is going to affect the way your records sound, but Record Reverginizer claims to eliminate that far better than any standard record brush ever could. The process involves gently rubbing a liquid onto your vinyl and letting it sit for about 12 hours. Once the solution has dried into a film, you simply peel it off, bringing with it all of the junk that has been impeding your listening experience. The site claims it can improved the playback of even new records by removing particles left on the record surface from the pressing process, which can be a real problem with some pressing plants. The audio samples on the site are impressive, but we're going to get our hands on some and then we'll let you know if it actually works. Each $75 (including $20 shipping from Australia) bottle cleans 16 double-sided 12-inch records, which isn't cheap, but is certainly more economical than buying a new copy. If nothing else, the pictures make it look like it will be fun to do, much like when we were kids and spent hours peeling dried Elmer's glue off of our hands. You did that too, right?
