1% distortion at 38.5 watts

Two channels driven continuously into 4-ohm loads:
0.1% distortion at 73.5 watts
1% distortion at 93.2 watts

Analog frequency response:
–0.90 dB at 10 Hz
–0.25 dB at 20 Hz
–0.84 dB at 20 kHz
–10.98 dB at 50 kHz.

48 kHz PCM frequency response:
–0.68 dB at 10 Hz
–0.18 dB at 20 Hz
–0.54 dB at 20 kHz
+1.20 dB at 24 kHz.

This graph shows that the EA101EQ-G’s left amplifier channel, with two channels driving 8-ohm loads, reaches 0.1% distortion at 36.3 watts and 1% distortion at 38.5 watts. Into 4 ohms, the amplifier reaches 0.1% distortion at 73.5 watts and 1% distortion at 93.2 watts.

THD+N from the amplifier was less than 0.055% at 1 kHz when driving 2.83 volts into an 8-ohm load. Crosstalk at 1 kHz driving 2.83 volts into an 8-ohm load was –93.29 dB left to right and –92.84 dB right to left. The signal-to-noise ratio with an 8-ohm load from 10 Hz to 24 kHz with “A” weighting was –99.91 dBrA.—MJP

Would have loved to hear more with the Debut B4 speakers and S10 sub as the (low-end) setup and then possibly the Ub5 with an S12EQ just for fun. Less than $1,200 for the first and around $1,900 for the second, plus another $1,100 for the Discovery server....OK, I'm just getting silly now.
