Genelec 6020A Speaker System HT Labs Measures
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the 6020A satellite (purple trace) and 5050A subwoofer (blue trace). The satellites were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter.
The 6020A's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +1.22/–0.84 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +1.23/–0.83 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 59 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 54 Hz with the filter switches set to Off.
The 5050A's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 33 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 28 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 110 Hz using the LFE input with the filter switches set to off.—MJP
