The top chart shows the 747i's gray scale relative to its color temperature at various levels of intensity, or brightness (20 IRE is dark gray; 100 IRE is bright white). The gray scale as set by the factory, in the 6500 color-temperature mode and the Progressive DVD picture mode, measures somewhat warm with dark images and fairly accurate with brighter images. After making adjustments using the Photo Research PR-650, the gray scale measures closer to D6500, the accurate color temperature, across the entire range.

The bottom chart shows the gray scale (or color temperature) relative to the color points of the display's red, green, and blue color filters. These are slightly off those specified by SMPTE. Red is very slightly oversaturated. Blue is very slightly oversaturated and very slightly greenish-blue. Green is slightly undersaturated and somewhat bluish-green.

After calibration, and using a full-field 100-IRE white (134.5 ft-L) and a full-field 0-IRE black (0.139 ft-L), the contrast ratio was 968:1. Using a 16-box checkerboard pattern (ANSI contrast), the contrast ratio was 825:1. The best contrast ratio was achieved in the Bright Room setting. The best black level was achieved in the Dark Room setting, which produced 73.31 ft-L with a 100-IRE field and 0.076 ft-L on a 0-IRE black for a contrast ratio of 965:1.—GM

Howdy! Paramount Plus is my go-to streaming service because of its extensive collection of movies and series. I never run out of options, whether it's the latest releases or nostalgic favorites. The pricing is fair, and I can enjoy some shows for free with ads. What's even better is the ability to download shows for offline viewing, ensuring I always have entertainment on hand, even without internet access. I recommend checking out Paramount Plus reviews or contact with paramount plus customer service number to see just how satisfied most subscribers are with this streaming platform.
