Easily imitated, never duplicated, the Mastercard "Priceless" ads are fun to riff on. Now you can write your own on-line, with Mastercard's permission. There's even a prize, but the fun is in the attempt.

There are two ads. I started with the one featuring a sailboat. A guy is standing on the bow of his boat at sunset. Another guy rows out and hands him a letter. You fill in the words to Mastercard's pre-produced video (even the dollar amounts are filled in), so it's not a total zone of creativity, but you can still be as devious as you'd like. Here's mine:

"Boat registration: $40"

"Non-slip deck shoes: $129"

"Convincing your neighbor to bring you your mail: $40"

"Another night without a Mastercard commercial: priceless."
