Vinyl Exclusives at Barnes & Noble? Who Knew...

Walking past Barnes & Noble in midtown New York City it was hard to miss the huge “Vinyl and Turntables” sign in the window.

I didn’t realize B&N sold turntables let alone that they offer vinyl exclusives from James Taylor, Incubus, and Johnny Cash, and others. You can check out the latest LP exclusives and other offerings here.

Not that you necessarily want to buy a turntable at Barnes & Noble but in case you’re curious here’s a peek at what they offer.

Gee, I wonder if they sell blank VHS tapes and 8-track tape decks, too?
And everyone knows there is nothing more "natural" sounding than a diamond stylus rubbing against the groove walls of a pressed vinyl platter. Bring back mono, too, while you're at it. Who needs multi-channel digital surround sound, anyway? I mean, it's not like I have 7 ears!

yes, just purchased Guardians of the Galaxy LP and Lorde's Pure Heroine there. I was shocked to see vinyl for sale at the store. They started selling vinyl a while back.

All our B&N closed down around here. I guess Amazon has given them a beat down..
