DLNA-Certified Blu-ray Burgeons

The number of Blu-ray players certified by the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) has hit 105 models.

The DLNA standard enables digital content (video, music, photos, etc.) to be accessed via any approved device anywhere in the home via broadband connection. It's increasingly seen in home theater products including TVs, audio/video receivers, and now Blu-ray players. The Alliance's "promoter member companies" include major CE companies such as Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Toshiba as well as companies in several non-CE categories. DLNA-certified Blu-ray players are available from JVC, LG, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, and Sony. There are more than 7500 DLNA-certified products in general.

See press release. There's also a DLNA fan page on Facebook.
