Panasonic's larget plasma panel has gone 3D in a model released in the Japanese market.

At 103 inches, the TH-P103MT2 is a big guy, and sells for a big price: the Japanese yen equivalent of $102,000, about twice as much as the 3D version. A small price for 3D? Resolution is 1080p, of course, and contrast ratio is five million to one.

If you were contemplating a wall mount, you may want to have the contractors in to reinforce the wall. The eight-foot-long set weighs 404 pounds without stand (and 707 with stand). Power consumption is 1350 watts.

No word on when the product will come to the U.S. market.
