Let's see. How about Daniel Lanois? He has a lot of parallels with you in terms of style and atmospherics. That's funny. I also thought of him. He's one to think about further.

Or you could go completely the opposite way and pick somebody like Dr. Dre, the rap producer, and throw everybody off. [laughs] Mike, I like where you're going with this. But I think the record company might want to go with somebody more obvious.

Well, we always try to go outside the lines here at Sound & Vision... So do we. We always try to do that.
