CES 2009

Video expert Joe Kane was on hand showing his new Affinity projection screen, to be manufactured by Da-Lite. The gain was 0.9, but other gains are expected shortly (up to a maximum of 1.3).

Handling the projection chores was a new projector from Samsung. The SP-A900B was also designed in consultation with Joe. The Affinity screen was shown in an early version at CEDIA last September using the Samsung A800B projector, but this CES demo was a major step up from that. I haven't seen all the video projectors at the show as yet, but this one is in the running for the best picture at CES 2009.
