Deep inside the most secure bank in America, three desperate women from very different worlds cook up the most unlikely heist of the century: Smuggle out millions of dollars in worn-out currency headed for a Federal Reserve shredder every day. Taking the cash is going to be easy...but getting away with it will be insane!

This is a pretty fun heist film about three unlikely women who scheme up a plan to rob the Federal Reserve Bank that they work at. Things go really well until the girls get a bit too greedy and the Feds notice. I actually thought this one was going to be pretty lame but the film never takes itself too seriously and the performances do a great job with the material.

Anchor Bay delivers a solid presentation for this one. Detail is strong throughout and the sense of depth and definition are a bit above average. Color rendition is very natural and I didn’t see any distracting artifacts or compression elements. The image has a film-like look to it that is slightly softer than some of the reference transfers I’ve seen lately, but overall there isn’t much to complain about here.

The soundtrack is delivered in Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and like the video it does a great job with what it has to work with. This isn’t a dynamic mix and most of the soundstage is comprised of the film’s score and some subtle ambiance. Dialogue sounds very natural though there are times when ADR quality suffers a bit. Dynamic range is a bit limited but I wasn’t expecting much anyways given the genre.

A feature commentary with the director is included along with some deleted and alternate scenes. A promo-style production feature is included that features some interviews and behind the scenes footage and the trailer is also included.

This was a fun film that delivered more laughs than I was expecting. The cast did a great job with the material and Anchor Bay delivers a pretty solid package overall. Worth at least a rental.
