Wolf in the Henhouse
Wolf Cinema has launched three new projectors, including one that is surprisingly affordable for this premium brand. The lamp-based, 2D, DCC-100FD, a single chip DLP, is expected to list for $10,000 when it becomes available early next year. It's rated at 1300 ANSI lumens.
Available now is the DCL-200FD, an LED-based single chip 2D model with two lens options, a rated 1000 lumens when properly calibrated, and a price of $25,000. And reaching into the 3D stratosphere is the $75,000 SDC-3, offering 10,000 ANSI lumens from dual UHP lamps, a choice of 8 lenses, and the option to operate either with shutter glasses or (at a premium of $10K) polarized glasses.
