With two weeks to go before Christmas, earbud specialist 1More has introduced a $50 set of noise-canceling wireless earbuds with serious stocking stuffer potential. Serious because the earbuds were released for sale yesterday at the discounted price of $40.

The latest addition to the company's popular PistonBuds series, the new Pro Q30 earbuds support spatial audio through the 1More app, are water-resistant, and transmit sound over Bluetooth 5.3, a newer, more efficient iteration of the wireless technology that supports low latency and improved audio fidelity.

The earbuds incorporate 1More's proprietary QuietMax technology, which aims to suppress all forms of noise without compromising clarity and audio fidelity by combining dual-band active noise cancellation (ANC) technology with wind-noise reduction. Taking noise suppression a step further, six built-in microphones work in tandem with an AI-enabled algorithm to filter out ambient noise during phone calls.

Designed to adapt to different situations, the earbuds boast five listening modes: ANC Strong for use on an airplane or subway, ANC mild for the office or a coffee shop, Wind Noise Resistance (WNR) for windy days, Adaptive, which automatically adjusts ANC to reduce unwanted background noise by up to 42 dB, and Transparency so you can hear what’s going on around you and engage in conversation.

Battery life is rated for up to 7.5 hours on a single charge with ANC turned off plus an additional 22.5 hours with the charging case, dropping to 5/20 hours with ANC turned on. It takes 60 minutes to charge the earbuds and 2 hours to charge the case.

A built-in sensor preserves battery life by pausing the music when an earbud is removed. When the battery is exhausted, a 10-minute quick-charge mode provides 2 hours of play time.

Sound is reproduced through 0.4-inch “diamond-like-carbon” drivers (one per ’bud) built to deliver "well-balanced sound with intricate detail."

In addition to supporting spatial audio, the 1More app features an 80 millisecond low-latency Gaming Mode and a customizable EQ with 12 presets, including Bass Booster, Classic, Vocal, Rock, Pop, Lounge, and Podcast.

To ensure a tight, comfortable fit, the PistonBuds Pro Q30 earbuds are angled and come with soft silicone ear tips. Available in black or white. For more information, visit usa.1more.com.
