Abbey Road Marks 85th Anniversary with Playlists
Three playlists, curated by Abbey Road’s music library team and sequenced by its engineers, feature landmark recordings made in Studio One (originally built to accommodate large symphony orchestras), Studio Two (recording home of The Beatles), and Studio Three (a smaller space that has hosted a variety of projects, including the duet recordings of Bennett and Amy Winehouse).
The playlists will be updated regularly, according to the a press statement issued by the famous studio, which plans to introduce more playlists, including one focused on ‘60s psychedelic rock recorded at Abbey Road and one featuring “the best classical music.”
