Apple TV's latest update, version 2.2, has gone HD. In addition to security updates (always a good thing) and Genius features, Apple TV has HDTV options. Looks to me to be the same things offered through the iTunes Store, and this gives you two versions too.

What are the two versions?

According to their website, "Every HD-quality episode also comes with an iPod and iPhone compatible standard definition version of the show."
