Aragon Home Theater Amps: THX Ultra-approved
These new products include Mondial's first seven-channel amplifier, first 300-watt five- and two-channel amplifiers, and first preamp/processor supporting 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1 decoding for DTS-ES and THX® surround EX, according to Mondial co-founder Paul Rosenberg. The new products also mark the company's first successes with THX® certification, he stated.
All new Aragon electronics were designed with Mondial's time-honored "elegant simplicity" philosophy, Rosenberg explained. They've have also benefited from Klipsch's enormous resources---financial, engineering, and manufacturing. "With Klipsch resources, we've been able to give our Aragon line fresh new cosmetics as well as add the marketing prowess and performance of THX® certification," Rosenberg said. "The new models deliver high-power output with a simplified user interface from a minimalist design. People expect sophisticated, high-performance Mondial equipment that features one-touch, easy operation. The new and refreshed models we're showing at CEDIA meet and exceed those expectations."
Six new Aragon models debuted at the CEDIA Expo 2001 in Indianapolis.
