Looking for a little extra holiday spending money? If you purchased an LCD TV between 1999 and 2006 and live in one of the 24 states listed below, you may be entitled to a piece of a $1.1 billion settlement pie.

As reported in TWICE, the law firms of Zelle Hofmann Voelbel & Mason and the Alioto Law Firm said the settlement stems from lawsuits related to price fixing on LCD panels used in TVs, monitors, and laptop computers. The settlement involves 10 electronics manufacturers, including Samsung, LG, Hitachi, Sharp, and Toshiba.

The deadline for filing a claim is Dec. 6, 2012. Click here or call (855) 225-1886 for details. To submit a claim you have to fill out a simple two-page form and answer a few questions. “No receipts or other documents are required for small claims,” according to a statement on the website.

Eligible consumers will be able to collect $25, $100, $200, or more depending on the number of LCD products purchased during the time period and the number of claims filed.

Settlement proceeds are available to consumers and businesses in the District of Columbia and 24 states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The law firms said the settlement is the largest antitrust all-cash class action recovery ever for consumers who bought consumer electronics products indirectly from retailers and resellers, according to the report in TWICE.
