When is a mono-block amp a home theater product? When it's sold more often in threes and fives than in pairs, as we learned from the Bounder folks. The 850 mono-block ($7000/each) is one-half rack width, so it fits onto racks in pairs. This 200-watt bruiser includes IR and 12-volt trigger jacks, and multiple units can do sequential power-up, traits that endear it to custom installers.
