Products include routers, hubs, ethernet - not exactly the audio or video equipment we love. That's about to change, in a big way.

Ready to go head to head with names like Apple and Sony, Cisco is looking to introduce products to take the Internet out of your computer and into the rest of your home. Cool. "Enabling the connected life."

Their biggest gamble?

Cisco has an incredible video-conferencing system, Telepresence, used throughout the corporate world. They hope to bring it to the consumer market as a way for friends to chat through an Internet-connected high-def TV.
