As the Kickstarter campaign for Como Audio’s new voice-enabled SpeakEasy portable speaker winds down, the company has announced the speaker can be pre-ordered for $209 until the campaign ends on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. EST.

The “48 hour flash special” price is $140 off the regular retail price of $349.

Slated to ship in November, the battery-powered speaker is built around the Google Assistant voice platform, which uses spoken commands to play music, query the internet, and control smart-home devices via the Google Home app.

The two-way system supports hi-res audio playback, Bluetooth streaming, and can be grouped with other Como Audio speakers via Google Chromecast dongles for streaming in multiple rooms around the house.

Finish options are walnut or hickory wood veneer and high gloss black or white. The discount is for a speaker finished in walnut (as shown above).
