Denon Brings Bluetooth to M-Series Minisystem
The D-M41 stereo system, slated for release in June at $500, combines Denon’s RCD-M41 CD receiver and matching SC-M41 speakers in a compact form factor.
The new design features separate analog and digital sections, shortened signal paths, and “precision grounding” to avoid interference as well as hi-res 192-kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converters and a dedicated headphone amplifier.
In addition to its built-in CD player, the system has an AM/FM tuner, a pre-out for use with a powered subwoofer, and two optical digital inputs for connection to external sources such as a TV.
Power output is rated at 2 x 30 watts, said to be more than enough to drive the two-way speakers, which combine a 4.7-inch woofer and 1-inch soft dome tweeter.
