While they might have little application to our audio- and video-centric coverage, robots and drones drew large crowds to their demonstrations and were a clear indication of just how much our consumer technology world has expanded in the years we’ve been covering the field. The crowd shown here isn’t watching a demo of the latest 8K vaporware (in fact, unless I missed them there were (thankfully) no display demos higher than 4K at the show unless you count Sony’s CLEDIS video wall No, these folks were trying to get a glimpse at the new LG robots. The robots and drones were, admittedly, way cool.
