Elite Unveils Two-Sided Portable Projection Screen

Elite Screens is looking ahead to spring with a new outdoor projection screen intended to replace those saggy old bedsheets people use for backyard movie nights.

The DIY Pro Dual is described as easy to set up and designed to produce a “bright, clear” 16:9 image on either side, meaning it can be used in a front or rear-projection setup.

Made of a durable vinyl material called WraithVeil Dual, the screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and is available in 8-, 10-, and 21-feet (diagonal) sizes with a double-stitched matte-black masking border to improve visual contrast.

The DIY Dual Pro is suitable for high dynamic range (HDR) 4K or 8K images and has a rated gain of 0.8 with a 150° viewing angle from either side, according to Elite.

The screen includes a canvas carrying bag and comes with rope and bungee cords to create a flat projection surface, whether you’re projecting on a wall, garage or shed door, or using an improvised PVC framework on the patio.
