Emotiva Ships $200 Airmotiv 3b Bluetooth Speakers

Emotiva Audio announced that its new Airmotiv 3b Bluetooth speaker is now available on emotiva.com and authorized dealers for $199 a pair.

Measuring 5.5 x 6.75 x 4 inches and finished in satin black lacquer, the speaker features 0.75-inch tweeter and 3-inch long-throw woofer in a two-way tuned-port design, Bluetooth 2.0 with aptX, and an integrated 2x30-watt Class D amplifier and 32-bit digital signal processor. A separate line input accommodates analog sources, including DACs and portable music players.

I'm digging the baffle taken from other more upscale models in this line. These look serious. The price is definitely right for casual desktop listeners looking for the next level. I hope they sound as good as they look.

How "serious" can a pair of 200 mini monitors sound? "Seriously" don't expect miracles.
