Fluance Adds Two Powered Models to Reference Speaker Line

Fluance has introduced two new powered speakers in its Reference Series: the Ri71 bookshelf speakers and Ri91 tower speakers. Both models incorporate Bluetooth connectivity and active amplification.

According to Fluance, the Ri71 bookshelf speakers ($399.99) include a 120-watt built-in amplifier powering a two-way design featuring an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter and a 5-inch woven glass fiber woofer housed within an MDF cabinet.

The Ri91 tower speakers ($799.99) utilize the same AMT tweeter paired with dual 6.5-inch woven glass fiber drivers in a larger enclosure, driven by an internal 150-watt amplifier. Fluance claims the AMT tweeters offer detailed treble performance, while custom-engineered waveguides ensure wide sound dispersion.

Both speaker models feature remote controls, for easy adjustments. Listeners can tailor sound characteristics with tone control. Fluance also highlights Bluetooth compatibility, enabling wireless streaming alongside wired connectivity, including HDMI ARC, RCA, and digital optical inputs.

Cabinets are internally braced to minimize resonance, and both speaker models feature front-firing bass ports to enhance low-frequency response.

The Ri71 bookshelf speakers and Ri91 tower speakers are available now in Black Ash, White Ash, and Walnut finishes directly through Fluance's website.
