Fluance Introduces $300 Flagship Subwoofer
Fluance, the internet-based Canadian speaker company that offers a lifetime warranty on its products, has introduced a new flagship subwoofer that sells for $300.
The DB12 is a ported design combining a 12-inch long-throw driver and 240-watt (RMS) amplifier in a 17 x 15 x 17-inch MDF enclosure that is internally braced and dampened. The driver’s rigid cone design is said to help reduce distortion.
Features include an adjustable (40-80 Hz) crossover, phase switch, and speaker and line-level inputs and outputs. The subwoofer has a rated frequency response of 38-180 Hz ±3dB.
Black, walnut, and cherry woodgrain finishes are available. The company offers a 30-day in-home trial with free return shipping.
