Fluance Launches its First Powered Bookshelf Speakers
Fluance, the Canadian speaker company based in Niagara Falls, today introduced its first powered bookshelf speaker system.
The “plug-and-play” Ai40 ($200/pair) supports Bluetooth/aptX streaming and boasts a built-in 2 x 35-watt Class D amplifier — built into one of the speakers — with RCA inputs for direct connection to a source component. No receiver or outboard amplifier required.
Each speaker teams a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter with a 5-inch woven-glass-fiber woofer in 11-inch-tall MDF cabinet finished in black, bamboo, or walnut.
The acoustic-suspension system is rated down to 40 Hz and comes with a remote control. Fluance offers a two-year warranty.
