These might not be powerful room-shakers, but at least the price is right. Computer accessory company Genius has announced a new set of stereo computer speakers designed to look, well, better than computer speakers.

The SP-HF500A stereo speakers feature a glossy black-and-wood finish that could very well be mistaken for far more expensive brands, if they were a bit bigger and more powerful. The speakers stand less than 8 inches tall and consume only 14 watts. Still, their 3-inch drivers should pack enough punch to fill a bedroom or small office, and they do look pretty. The speakers ship in November, and will retail for $45.
