Film buffs will flock to a special presentation that offers an in-depth look at how Sony Pictures Digital Studios produced the new Lawrence of Arabia DVD. This 1962 Oscar-winning classic, directed by David Lean and considered one of the greatest films ever made, posed a number of challenges before it could be brought to disc. Seminar attendees will get the complete inside story. Sony Pictures experts in restoration, authoring, and HD transfer will be on hand to provide a multimedia presentation covering everything from color correction and sound remixing to the search for lost footage.
