Integra Unveils Custom-Ready Stereo Receiver

Integra today announced the availability of a new hi-res-capable stereo receiver with custom-installation features.

The DTM-7 receiver ($650) features a 384 kHz/32-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and is equipped with installation-friendly features, including bi-directional RS232 and Ethernet ports, an infrared (IR) input and output, two programmable 12V triggers (100 mA, 25 mA) with adjustable delay, a line-out for playback in a second room, and a Zone 2 DAC for Airplay, internet, and USB sources.

Rated to deliver 2 x 100 watts into 8 ohms, the receiver is built using hand-selected parts, including a high-power transformer and custom high-current capacitors, and supports 4K / 60 Hz video, BT.2020 pass-through with HDCP 2.2, wide color gamut, and all three high dynamic range (HDR) formats: Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma, via a firmware update), and HDR10.

The receiver also supports dual-band 5-/2.4-GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1+LE, and Apple AirPlay, and comes preloaded with a number of apps, including Tidal, Pandora, Spotify Connect, Deezer, and TuneIn internet radio. Other wireless streaming options include Chromecast built-in (via a firmware update), DTS Play-Fi (via a future firmware update), and FireConnect.

Additional highlights include an anti-resonant aluminum front panel and volume control, gold-plated RCA terminals, and a host of connection options, including four HDMI inputs and an HDMI output, a USB input, three 3 digital inputs (two optical/one coaxial), three analog inputs, and a phono input.
