KEF has announced a V3.0 firmware update for its recently introduced LSX wireless speaker system that adds support for the Spotify music streaming platform and Roon music management system.

The compact LSX system, which uses a wireless connection between speakers, now supports direct streaming and browsing via Spotify and Roon, which makes it possible to manage the LSX and multiple other devices — including Chromecast, AirPlay, and Sonos — via one app.

KEF also announced that a free 6-month trial of Tidal HiFi Music Streaming will be available for a limited time to LSX owners who register via the KEF Control app.
