KLH Audio Announces its First Headphones and Earphones

KLH Audio, the legendary speaker brand re-launched last year by ex-Klipsch global sales president David P. Kelley, unveiled its first headphones and earphones at CES 2019 last week in Las Vegas.

Two models, slated for delivery in March, will kick off the brand’s Ultimate Series: The Ultimate One full-size open-air headphones ($499) and the Ultimate Two wireless in-ear monitors ($299).

The Ultimate Ones feature 2-inch beryllium drivers housed in ebony-finished real wood earcups, leather earpads filled with high-density microfiber fill, and a hand-stitched headband. The headphones boast a rated bandwidth of 18 Hz-22 kHz and include a travel case and detachable 6.5-foot cable with a gold-plated mini-jack connector and removable quarter-inch XLR adapter.

The Ultimate Two wireless earphones are described as hand-tuned, sound-isolating in-ear monitors featuring 0.4-inch balanced-armature drivers, a detachable braided-cable with gold-plated connectors, a three-button control for wireless pairing, and a pearlized black-gloss finish. The earphones support aptX/Bluetooth and are designed to swivel in and out of each ear. KLH includes a travel case and four sizes of eartips to ensure a tight, comfortable fit.
