Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Leon Speakers is now shipping its revamped UX line of speakers, designed to complement the thinnest of today’s TVs.

Redeveloped to provide the “highest performance audio in the thinnest possible enclosure,” the UX line comprises three models, each a full inch slimmer than their predecessors: the 2.25-inch model 33UX, 2.5-inch 44UX, and 3-inch 55UX (measurements include a 0.25-inch-thick speaker grille).

The UX slim design is available for new models in Leon’s custom-built Horizon and Profile series, featuring speakers built to match the width and finish of any TV.

The Horizon Series includes eight three-channel soundbars, including a fully powered model.

The Profile Series has seven models that can be made to attach directly to the sides of a TV or mount on the wall, flanking a wall-mounted set.

The UX form factor is also available for Leon’s Detail Series of wall-mountable surround-channel speakers, including the 2-inch-thick HZ33UX. The speakers are available custom painted or with hardwood cabinets.

“We completely redesigned the way a woofer is built to get the most articulate sound in the thinnest speaker possible,” said Leon founder and president Noah Kaplan.
