LG’s Rollup OLED TVs Take Center Stage at CES

A highlight of LG’s massive CES booth is an array of rollup OLED TVs that raise and lower in synchronized formation.

LG’s new Signature Series 65R9 OLED features the company’s A9 Intelligent picture processor and supports Amazon Alexa voice control, AirPlay 2, and Apple’s HomeKit. Along with Full View and Zero View modes, the rollable OLEDs feature a Line View mode where the screen area is reduced for time, weather, and mood lighting display. The 65R9’s cabinet also features a built-in 4.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio system.

LG’s Signature Series 65R9 OLED TV will be available in mid-2019. Pricing hasn’t been announced.

I guess if I wanted a part-year outdoor set this might be an idea, but in my home?
