Magnasonic Introduces Pocket DLP Projector

Magnasonic today introduced what it’s calling the world’s smallest portable DLP projector, the LED Pocket Pico Video Projector.

Priced at $170, the plug-and-play pocket projector accepts a 1080p input and is said to project “clear images” up to 60 inches through its 25 lumen LED-enabled DLP light engine. Resolution is 640 x 360 and rated contrast ratio 1100:1. The projector is 3.9 x 3 inches and only a half inch thick, making it easy to slip into a pocket.

Features include HDMI and micro HDMI connectivity, an adjustable focus wheel, a volume control, a minijack to connect headphones or powered speakers, and a rechargeable 2100mAh battery said to provide 2 hours of operation per charge.

The company says the pocket projector is ideal outdoor movie nights, camping trips, and corporate presentations.

So it's about as bright as a child's night light?

Perhaps it's 250 lumens?
